Greene Civil Engineering are a reputable company committed to our duty and responsibility under the ‘Health & Safety At Work Act (1974). We will therefore ensure that our workforce and others who may be affected by operations are safeguarded as far as reasonably practical.

We will ensure that all of our workforce and supply chain will comply with this standard. We will inform,instruct,train and supervise our workforce and those under our responsibility to comply with the ‘Act’.We will also verify and assess the competency of our workforce and those of our supply chain to deliver projects safely.

We will identify risks associated in our operations with the objective of removing, reducing or safely managing those risks. All our workforce, supply chain and other parties who may come into contact with our operations will be informed and protected accordingly. We will encourage involvement of everyone to contribute to providing a safe and healthy environment in which to work through reporting, challenging and continuous improvement. For acts that potentially jeopardize a safe environment we will take disciplinary action or in the case of our supply chain we will impose appropriate penalties.

We recognize that our industry is by its nature constantly changing therefore we will continually review and adapt our processes in accordance with legislation, best practice and standards such as ISO 18001.

We will provide sufficient resources for health and safety compliance and improvement as we believe it is our legal and moral duty to do so. We consider health and safety to be a fundamental right of everyone and should carry the same if not greater commitment as any other business process.
