Greene Civil Engineering understands the need to protect our environment for the future. We recognize that all of our work processes have an effect on our environment.

We are therefore ever mindful of the need to adopt strict control over our works in an effort to reduce environmental impacts. We will ensure, to the best of our abilities, that effective and efficient control measures are implemented to manage the impacts of our works

We will source materials such as sustainable timber from F.S.C. Accredited suppliers and endeavor to offer where possible other material from sustainable sources. In complying with our policy we will require our supply chain to observe the same standards and seek evidence of that requirement. We will look to reduce our environmental impacts further by effective management of vehicles and plant by investing in newer more fuel efficient models together with route planning for greater control.

We will undertake, where required environmental assessments and develop processes and protective measures to further control to minimize environmental impacts in accordance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management.

We encourage our workforce in their understanding of environmental issues and provide instruction and direction at all levels. This as all company policies are not exhaustive and therefore will be subject to continuous review and where possible improvement to ensure we comply with legislation and industry best practice.
